A temple has been world famous due to the sacrifices of thousands buffaloes every five year. Gadhimai temple is located in the lowland area of Bara district,Narayani zone of Nepal. More than hundreds thousands Hindu visitors come from different place of Nepal to visit this fair and thousands of from India.It is one of the famous fair of Nepal. Gadhimai temple is being famous because of the sacrificing thousands of animal.Hindu public trusts that after sacrificing the animal the some kinda problems will be solve. After worshiping five days it will open to other visitors. It is worship many other gods also during the time of worshiping. The priest is Tharu (name of one of the caste of Nepal) in this temple.
This fair celebrates in every five year. more than five thousands buffaloes sacrifices here at once. Some peoples are talking about it to stop this. This is one of the ancient traditional of Hindu society.
